Steve Guerdat’s incredible mare, Jalisca Solier, will bid farewell to the public at the upcoming Geneva International Horse Show in the arena where she
received some of her finest ovations, such as the Rolex Grand Prix World Cup 2006 the Credit Suisse Grand Prix in April 2010 or the final Top 10
Worldwide in December 2010. The combination are world-renowned and unbelievably well-respected, having won the 2009 European Championships and
Olympic Bronze at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday evening December 14th, at the end of the 3rd Champions Challenge, presented by Rolex. A class in which
Steve is likely to ride Jalisca, the reigning Olympic Champion remarked that “if she is in shape and has the possibility to shine” he will ride the 16 year
old mare. No doubt the emotion will be intense, Jalisca, who was a winner again this summer in Chantilly, has always had a special place in Steve’s heart.
