Tokyo Olympics: Happy Birthday Nino and the end

While it is impossible to pass this August 8 without thinking of Nino des Buissonnets who celebrates today the 9th anniversary of his Olympic medal in London, let's look back at the team final in Tokyo.

"We just weren't good enough," Steve summed up at the end of the team final, as tough as ever but so honest in his self-criticism.

However, Venard had a wonderful run, finishing with 4 points that might not have even existed if the stakes had been different.

A 5th place in the end, a great frustration, an Olympic diploma and an appointment in Paris 2024 already fixed by Steve will remain the ultimate memories of this "sad" day.

Bye bye Tokyo, but this sport is beautiful and difficult to live, as much for the actors as for the spectators!
