European Championships in Rotterdam: An unsuccessful Sunday!

It had started all so well for Albführen's Bianca and Steve, and the highest hopes were allowed!

Flawless in the speed competition, without forcing Bianca, and on the 5th place after day one, our favourite pair showed a brilliant clear round the next day in the first round of the Nations Cup and moved up in 2nd place in the intermediate ranking.

Unfortunately, the Swiss team missed the goal completely and had to quickly forget the hope for a medal!

In the second round of the Nations Cup Albführen's Bianca touched a pole at the end of the course, so that they fell back to the still good 5th intermediate place, but still with hopes for a medal.

In the first round on Sunday, Bianca had two faults at the end of the course, which is very unusual for our princess.

Just like in the second round of the team event, both caused by only small touches, which would probably not have led to faults on a day with more luck!

In order to save Albführen's Bianca for the next upcoming challenges, Steve decided not to start in the final round, as all medal chances were gone, and applauded together with the Swiss team staff to the fabulous European Champion title of his friend Martin Fuchs, the brilliant winner with his great and extremely constant Clooney!
